Angela “Big Ang” Raiola is 52 years old and the niece of Salvatore “Sally Dogs” Lombardi (deceased), who was a captain of the Genovese crime family.
She is a mother of two and was raised in Brooklyn N.Y. She used to run a bar where she sold crack cocaine, powdered cocaine and marijuana and was arrested in the big “Operation White Heat” a joint investigation launched by NY Police Department and the DEA.
In taped telephone calls she was heard complaining about the quality of cocaine and holding large amounts of drug money. She was indicted in May 2001 on six felony counts and was free on $100,000 bond in March 2003 and pleaded guilty to the indictment’s top count.
In October 2003 she was sentenced to three years probation and four months on house arrest. Big Ang has had a tummy tuck, liposuction, lip injections and her breast done three times. She admits her obsession with plastic surgery is due to her insecurities about her body after having her first child.
However, she said she is not done with plastic surgery. By April Ang would like to have her eyes done, slight face lift and additional liposuction.
What we also hear is that she is married to a 38 year old man who is 6 foot 7! You go girl! Several are also speculating about a spin off with Big Ang! They ARE talking about POSSIBLY doing a spin off after a couple of more seasons. But not before Mob Wives: Chicago premieres this spring!
